By creating programs and networking opportunities, the Rocky Mountain MSDC personifies synergy, innovation, and experience in cross promoting minority business development programs and services. Ultimately, we eliminate obstacles to success for minority-owned businesses and minority development agencies through the promotion of:
- The strategic role of MBEs to local and US economies;
- The growth in the number of MBEs;
- The expansion in the number of jobs created by MBEs; and
- The expansion of sales and procurement revenue on behalf of MBEs

WHAT ARE ACCESS OPPORTUNITY MEETINGS AND HOW WILL THEY BENEFIT MY MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISE?
These dynamic meetings are very well attended because they allow Minority Business Enterprises a unique opportunity to connect with the Rocky Mountain MSDC's corporate members as well as representatives from government (state, local, regional, federal) and academic entities.
Corporate members are able to present opportunities for MBEs so that both MBEs and corporations are able to match their contract requirements with the goods and services offered by MBEs. MBEs benefit from a corporate overview for each entity hosting the Access Opportunity meeting and thereby learn how to do business with their corporate hosts and, specifically, how to respond to current contract opportunities. They are also introduced to the buyers or representatives of the corporation hosting the event.
Access Opportunity meetings differ from networking opportunities in that their focus is on matching current corporate contract needs to MBE goods and services.
What is a Corporate Plus Member?
Corporate Plus is a national membership category for National Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) designated to recognize their national capabilities, bring them to the attention of more National Corporate Members and expand their participation in the NMSDC Network. For complete details, please visit the National Minority Supplier Development Council's website at www.nmsdc.org.
NOTE: FOR THE BENEFIT OF YOUR SMALL BUSINESS, WE ASK THAT YOU COMPLETE THE CAPABILITY PROFILE STATEMENT PRIOR TO REGISTERING SO THAT PRIOR TO THE MEETING WE CAN MATCH YOUR COMPANY'S GOODS AND SERVICES TO THE NEEDS OF OUR CORPORATE MEMBER HOSTS OR YOU MAY BRING YOUR CAPABILITY STATEMENT WITH YOU ON TO ANY OF OUR ACCESS OPPORTUNITY MEETINGS.
If you have questions about completing the Capability Statement, please contact Tanya Perea, Certification Coordinator, at 303.623.3037.
