A message from Stan Sena, President & CEO
Rocky Mountain MSDC:

Denver, Colorado - In these times of economic challenge, Minority Business Enterprises need to avail themselves of every opportunity to place their company's products and/services in the forefront for consideration by corporate America.  In particular, the many Rocky Mountain MSDC-certified MBEs who wish to connect with our corporate members need to utilize all tools available to them to make their products and services known.  Our corporate members want to work with our MBE constituents and there is no better way, other than through a face-to-face encounter, than to use our new ENHANCED CAPABILITY STATEMENT.   See sample one-page Capability Statement above, using information provided in fill in online form at left.

Our new ENHANCED CAPABILITY STATEMENT is a simple online fill-in that each our our MBE constituents should complete and submit so that we can take the information and place it into a template that will then be categorized as to products/services.

This template that we will customize for each MBE who completes the online application will be readily available to our corporate members so that they can take advantage of our MBE's many offerings that will match their unique corporate needs.  Our template, which will be created using a database with layout functions, will also be searchable.

Please see an example below of our ENHANCED CAPABILITY STATEMENT layout template below. One of our MBEs, Ron Hunter of TypeETC., has agreed to let us utilize this template to display his information.  You can easily see how such a one-page template will interest corporations with its "at-a-glance" display of all pertinent information.  We will, of course, take our MBE's individual logos and display them in the appropriate CAPABILITY STATEMENT.

We look forward to receiving for compilation all MBE capability statement data so that we can quickly, easily and with optimum effect match up our MBE constituents with our corporate members' needs.

The Rocky Mountain MSDC is committed to using the substantial resources of the Rocky Mountain MSDC to get our message out to both MBEs and corporations.  All that we are exposed to in this MBE arena reinforces our understanding that our local and regional MBE constituents must adapt their capabilities and their manner of promoting their services and products.  Their capability statements must be sophisticated and comprehensive -- we can work with MBEs in updating these important statements.  In fact, it is our responsibility to work with MBEs to evolve and help them achieve optimum outreach to corporations.that want and need to work with them in the Rocky Mountain Region.

Regards,
Stan Sena
